The 2014 Mazda 6 sedan will be unveiled at the Moscow auto show this week, but you don't have to fly to the Motherland to get details on the new model. We have them right here. As we expected, the new mid-sized sedan will make use of Mazda's SkyActiv technologies, including either a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine making 147 hp and 154 lb-ft of torque, or a 2.5-liter four making 189 hp and 188 lb-ft of torque.
The Mercedes Energ-G-Force, which will debut at the Los Angeles auto show, could be the shape of Mercedes SUVs to come--if you like it. “If people really like it and reaction is good then yeah, we might have to think of making it happen in reality,” said designer Huey Lee, who was part of the team that penned the Energ-G-Force at Mercedes' Advanced Design Studio in Carlsbad, Calif. Top Gear does like to get a Formula One driver or two to drive their track in a reasonably priced car. They’ve not managed to grab the whole grid yet – and they’ve also included a few golden oldies like Nigel Mansell and Damon Hill – but a lot of the big names seem to be persuaded it’s a bit of fun worth having.
